The Friends Set on the Warner Bros VIP Studio Tour in LA
Whilst in LA I visited the Warner Brothers Studios. When I was driving into the car park to park all of the employees from the offices around the studios were outside. There had been an earthquake whilst my dad was driving and employees had to evacuate the tall buildings. It was very exciting to see all the film sets that I had watched at the cinema or on TV. My tour group had a chance to see the Friends film set. I’m a big fan of Friends and I didn’t want it to end. My tour group squeezed into this tiny film set and in the corner was the Friends set. We were told it had been moved to a smaller building to make room for other sets that were in use. My first thoughts about the set was one that everything looked really old and everything was really small.
The brown sofa most of them used to squeeze on was tiny and I don’t know how you could get four to five people on there unless they were really skinny. Everyone in the tour group was quite excited so it was quite difficult to take photographs as everyone wanted to take photographs. I would love to go back and visit the studios again as it was well worth money. I also loved the Warner Brothers Studio Shop as you could get merchandise from all of the recent films and TV shows. I ended up buying some Gossip Girl merchandise whilst I was in the store.
