From flying into LAX we picked up a hired car which would drive us from LA to San Diego and also through Death Valley. The drive from LA to San Diego was about 6 hours as we did stop a lot along the way. For a long time our dream was to fly to LA and then drive down the West Coast and stay in San Diego. We visited a number of well known places such as Newport Beach, Laguna Beach and Dana Point. Reaching the San Diego Fwy we new we were close the Fwy is a long stretch of road which is apparel to the beach and there seemed to be quite a number of gated communities along the stretch of road. We stopped off at Newport Beach and visited the beach to take some photographs before travelling onto Laguna Beach. I loved watching Laguna Beach years ago so I defiantly had to stop here. Laguna Beach was a small town with a number of boutique stores and restaurants and a beach front.

Once in San Diego we crossed the Coronado Bridge which seemed to go on for miles, we had finally made it to San Diego. When approaching the city it actually looked quite busy like London is but just not as big. There were plenty of stores and restaurants in the city which I wasn’t expecting at all and a number of skyscrapers. We spent a couple of days in San Diego where we visited the World Famous Zoo and we did plenty of shopping. I would love to spend more time in San Diego and also visit the Zoo again.train tracks in LAWest Coast BeachWest Coast Beach Huts California travelling around LANewPort Beachice hockey in AmericaWest Coast beachesWest Coast beachSan Diego BridgeSan Diego Bay Bridge
